The Division 2 Private Beta - NEWS

Set for release on March 15th on PS4 and Xbox One, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 shows to be a game players are more than excited for and it's itching to be played. Well with news released from developer Ubisoft, it is now confirmed that a private beta will be available starting February 7th at 1am PST (4am EST) and will run until February 11th during the same time frame. Luckily for our gamers with tight schedules, this private beta can be downloaded up to 24 hours in advance of release. Now you may be wondering "if it's private then how do I get in?" Well the obvious answer to that is to pre-order the game as it's the only way to guarantee that you'll get access to this game's early access. However, if you have some great luck or are willing to take a swing at chance, there is an option to register on the game's main website for a chance to win a key code to this invite-only beta, but again, pre-ordering is the only way players can be sure to get access to this trial period.

So what can you do in this beta? Why is it worth it? Well to start, at release, players will have access to two of the main story missions in the game as well as one of the game's PvP modes, a few open-world activities and one of the three Dark Zones players of the series should be pretty familiar with. Of our two mission provided to us in this beta, one will take place in the Grand Washington Hotel while the second will take place in the Jefferson Trade Center. Five side missions will also be available to explore and experience while the new Skirmish PvP mode will offer that face-off style gameplay that veteran Division players may love and crave. During said gameplay you will be able to take your agent up to level 7 and utilize a variety of new skills that are unlockable to suit a variety of play styles.

Ubisoft also promises to tease some of the games endgame content that will be available to players who grind and stand up to the challenge. Giving gamers the ability to try out a level 30 agent and one of three new specializations that the game will offer upon release. Also, an endgame mission only entitled an "Invaded" mission will become available to play as well. This content will become available for play during the second day of the Private Beta, February 8th.

All in all this sequel to the 2016 hit The Division, promises to deliver even more content than it's predecessor in the hopes of receiving a higher rating than the 6/10 received by the first game. Check out this beta and all it has to offer starting Feb. 7th at 4 AM EST and rejoin the fight against Aaron Keener and the Green Poison!
